Need help with building custom classes in AS3

hi.

i'm relativelly new as3, buto not as2.

in as2 used write classes hard-coded links(calling methods instead of dispatching events),
but want build classes flexible possible, reused in various ways..

hope understand want achieve.

for example:
jeroen wijering's classes great example of flexibility.
