mambo 4.5 (109) to Joomla including components and mods - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have left site  running 4.5 109 because of components added it, , mods etc....
but think time has come attempt upgrade.

1. guess have follow upgrade chain of command speak , in steps right?

can confirm if have upgrade components during steps well?

specific components concerned added on ones. not sure ones not core applications in 4.5 109 , ones have changed in core joomla 1.0.4.

components uhp (user home page)
do have update step step joomla 1.0.4?
i'm not sure if there working version of uhp joomla 1.0.4.

can me out pointing me starting point on this??

i decided better keep posting here after reading posts on mambo site pointed people here assistance, considering members have come on joomla.

i found instructions upgrade 4.5 109 4.5.1a @ site here:

basically i...

• downloaded mambov4.5.1a-stable.tar.gz mambo site.
• backed database saving , downloading computer sql file.
• backed content on mambo site both backup local , backup remote directory.
• upgraded database thru plesk , phpmyadmin per instructions in manual @ http://www.lostcom.com/
• and continued follow instructions @ site till completion.

i testing have errors, post below, maybe know can eliminate them.

other things note:
my template teamworks , seems working right.
my server has register globals on , can not changed.
i use safemode patch. - have reinstall every version or recommend version upgrades install safemode patch joomla?


front end looks right, links not work.

most importantly right now. logged admin area , these various errors on various pages:
