think there slight possibility latest wlm might work wine 1.1.24 , need figuring out :

did :

installed wine , replaced program files folder , windows folder ones windows 7201 installation , when loaded msnmsgr.exe using wine got :


microsoft visual c++ runtime library

runtime error!

please can me out wish work windows live messenger on ubuntu!

you may want use amsn or emesene add/remove. both msn clients.
