access problem

this first time i've ever had problem. started morning, don't know if it's server problem, dw8, or what.

please go to: http://clerccenter.gallaudet.edu/index2.html

what did open in dw8 above page, called index.html

i made changes , saved index2.html

after index2 approved, went back, opened in dw8, , saved index.html override previous version becomes new home page. said "acess denied"

so went elsewhere on our site. made changes other pages , index2.html page , saved again. works fine. looks page don't have access index.html "something" won't let me save or override it.

any ideas?

have talked server admin this? possible don't have access overwrite files. if can't figure out worst case scenario edit index.html file directly
