simple VMUSIC2 project query

hello,

i'm wanting use flex sensor vmusic2, more sensor bent, louder mp3 plays.

so far i've managed vmusic2 play continuously, without pushbutton, here: http://techartblog.blogspot.com/2007/08/vmusic2-on-arduino.html

i've tried integrate if + else commands, doesn't work. i'm super amateur, if has tips having done before, i'd grateful.

i'm not familiar particular sensor using, or vmusic2, general approach like:


set value sensor reading.
convert value acceptable vmusic2  (e.g. scaling, etc)
send value vmusic2 volume command (presuming such thing exists) via serial
