Thread: laptop won't boot into windows or linux

i have laptop has vista , ubuntu 9.04 installed on it. used wubi install ubuntu , decided make permanent install can have more storage space, followed guide forum , used unetbootin partition manager program. program finished resizing partitions , not , can't boot windows or linux. suggestions?

appreciated use laptop talk family while serving in afghanistan.

boot ubuntu live usb or cd. choose "use ubuntu without changes computer". when desktop loads download boot info script desktop. here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/bootinfoscript/

open terminal , run command

sudo bash ~/desktop/boot_info_script*.sh
create results.txt file on desktop. paste entire contents of file here. once pasted here highlight text , click # sign on toolbar @ top of window. place code tags around text. submit reply. give info pertaining setup , boot process. we'll take , see have, we'll go there. have couple errands run, post when can. there whole community here help.
