Thread: Tor node problem

i started running tor node using vidalia, worked fine on first day, on seconed day got message
jul 01 19:03:51.972 [warning] not bind 127.0.0.1:9050: address in use. tor running?
jul 01 19:03:51.972 [notice] closing partially-constructed listener or listener on 0.0.0.0:9001
jul 01 19:03:51.972 [notice] closing partially-constructed listener directory listener on 0.0.0.0:9030
jul 01 19:03:51.972 [warning] failed parse/validate config: failed bind 1 of listener ports.
jul 01 19:03:51.972 [error] reading config failed--see warnings above.
a system monitor check confirmed not running, figured fact had changed torc files make firewall friendly, when reset believe original configuration , restarted computer, messages persisted.
ip has been reset @ least once between use or else?

can post output of `netstat -an | grep 127.0.0.1` , `netstat -pa | grep localhost`
