usb_modeswitch - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi
using 3g modem needs usb_modeswitch switch storage device modem. if 3g modem powered first , pi minute later, finds modem, switches , works fine.
if power both together, seems if pi going through boot process faster 3g modem ready , seems modeswitcher runs , fails switch modem.
running usb_modeswitch command line later fails switch modem. reboot of pi works modem powered , pi finds it.

there way delay boot process until 3g modem ready?

i managed resolve problem using code @ link reset usb devices after boot.
