JMTek USB Soundcard - no sound - Raspberry Pi Forums
i bought cheap (5 pounds) usb soundcard amazon (pc-trading). did standard changes /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf select usb card instead of standard bcm2835 alsa. command: aplay -l
has used usb jmtek, llc. soundcard on pi/raspbian distribution? ideas try next? thanks!
looks healthy. command: lsusb gives**** list of playback hardware devices ****

@ booting, get:bus 001 device 005: id 0c76:1607 jmtek, llc. audio controller
command: alsamixer lets me set volume on usb soundcard (in theory in case) never sound device. have tried playing mp3s using omxplayer or mpd/mpc internet radio , epseak text speech.usbcore:registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio

ok, it's not looking hopeful cheap soundcard then...
thinking of buying creative play usb soundcard replacement since it's on wiki compatible hardware list , gets audio quality reviews. have experience on pi creative play usb?
