Newbie Question about "messaging feature" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

ok have site set now... still trying work out bugs.
i have tried site sending message using "contact jay" form.
unfortunately when log admin don't see messages in inbox.
i want users able submit questions website... please help!!

somebody please treat me infant & tell me step step need make work!
