Backup or Copy SD Card (solved) - Raspberry Pi Forums

hello,
have downloaded pi os off raspberry pi web site , put img on sd.
have edited config file functions need , been through setup ok.
have edited (sudo nano etc/inittab) , pi auto login in...
startx manual, i'll auto start on next boot.

problem having new linux , keep messing system (see other post) , have re img sd again , lose above setup etc. there way can archive/copy sd pc can recover point was?

you can win32diskimager program mentioned on downloads page,

use read instead of write.
