Powered USB splitter? - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi everyone

ordered rpi , cant wait arrive.
wondering psu though.

have usb ac adapter 5v , 2.1amp got ipad.
if want plug in usb mouse, usb keyboard, usb hdd, hdmi, usb wifi, usb splitter need external power supply?

it will. however, cheap usb power supply can used , modded take external power.
