unable to telnet to FHEM - Raspberry Pi Forums

i using fhem home automation , runs perfectly. since days no more able connect fhem using telnet rpi.
fhem running "perl fhem.pl fhem.cfg" , can connect

code: select all

telnet 192.168.2.118 7072
imac via local network, when try connect directly rpi using

code: select all

telnet localhost 7072
rpi responds:

code: select all

trying 127.0.0.1... telnet: unable connect remote host: connection timed out
no more able e.g shutdown fhem using

code: select all

perl fhem.pl 7072 "shutdown"
or other command.
ideas?
in advance

what happens when type

code: select all

telnet 192.168.2.118 7072
on raspi?
