4x20 lcd problem

hi
when try use 4x20 hd44780 lcd display....
it works example code(edited 4x20), when try app update let's second line, wipes whole screen , updated text displayed on first line...
how should do.... btw use lcd smartie latest version , "test driver"

if works arduino , not work lcd smartie aren't asking question in wrong forum?

a search lcd smartie test driver takes me page says:

test driver
the test driver development tool, can used unsupported serial displays working lcd smartie. nb: no support offered display using driver.

so - if people wrote test driver not prepared offer support how think can offer?
