Why not slightly larger cases? - Raspberry Pi Forums

the standard cases i've seen have sd card hanging outside case, seems daft idea , number of reports people they've broken sd card/port seems bear out. why not make cases larger majority of card enclosed, need small bit of extruding able remove it?

worries me i'm thinking of buying standard box maplins , cutting rough holes in cables. haven't got tools or skills decent job if prevents breaking sd card or pi, that's more important having nice looking box.

only few cases have been reported tbh , small hole give same sort of issue - can try 1 of microsd mods - have no stick out bit
