Weblink in Contact component - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i've installed joomla on our school webserver - love it.  question:  i'm setting 'contacts' each faculty member... many of teachers have personal webpages.  include active link pages in contact information.  how should this?  i've put url info in miscellaneous info box, it's not active - 1 needs cut , paste.
