Grasshopper to Arduino

hi guys,
i'm pretty new arduino, have project i'm working on hoping on.  basically, i'm trying control arduino feeding information rhino's grasshopper plugin.  grasshopper parametric modeling program rhino, , i've created vb.net definition (with luis fraguada) can send data grasshopper processing via udp.  for method, using udp library written stephane cusot.  however, i'm having problems using same method send data arduino compiled file.  i did search on here , found björn hartmann has library seems need load, however... i'm having issues getting library recognized, , how modify arduino file receive data.  
as test project, want send numeric data grasshopper (controlling rotation of arm) arduino file rotate motor in real-time.  if guys have suggestions, please let me know.   , forward being part of community.
