Changing default PWM Freq in analogWrite()

i thinking of using arduino processor large horsepower motor control application.  in past, i've used motorola-based processors easy high-level way change pwm frequency (i run 15 khz).  i took @ function analogwrite(pin, value) , seems default frequency 500 hz.  is there easy way change this?
